This blog is about us enjoying a breather between our touring exploits!
While we love touring the local, and not so local, sights… the reality is we have lots of days to just enjoy being here and doing normal stuff!
This year, Val & George’s grandson, Brad, and granddaughter, Rachel, came for a two week visit! We were fortunate to be able to spend some time with them too!
Doug & Janine’s visit was drawing to a close!
It was a great visit and we were able to see new sights and visit new places!

We enjoyed another Wednesday Jam Session at FACES in Progreso!
Both Brad and Rachel turn 25 this year and decided to celebrate by visiting Oma and Opa in Uaymitun! We all celebrated their birthdays at dinner at Hacienda Xcanatun near Mérida!
Sometimes we just like to ‘Get out of Dodge’! We have enjoyed dining at Oliva Kitchen and Oliva Enoteca in Centro Mérida and have wanted to try out their new location, Oliva Patio, near City Center Mall.
